The Coronovirus pandemic continues to dominate business and personal lives and despite the success of vaccine and roll-out the end is not yet in sight. Governments can design policies to set the scene for economies to recover, but it is businesses that will do the hard graft and up-to-date data will be critical to make the right decisions.
UNCTAD (United Nations Conference on Trade and Development) aims to contribute to this with a new portal. It provides a broad selection of data on the impact of the pandemic on trade and development. As well as data on COVID-19 cases and deaths and Vaccination roll-out, business-relevant information is provided on Trade in products & services, Manufacturing, Transport, Economic growth, Investment and Trade policy and many other categories.
