THE BUSINESS OF INTERNATIONAL TRADE
BritishAmerican Business (BAB) and the US Embassy London have partnered up to tell the stories of how trading with the United States has become a key part of the success of both British and American traders, in an initiative called Champions of Trade.
As the UK and US governments work toward a comprehensive trade agreement, it describes products that are being traded, introduces the companies that make them from SMEs to major international businesses, and talks to the people behind them to find out how they achieved their Transatlantic successes. As part of this, they have published 'Champions of Trade - Stories of Transatlantic Success', featuring businesses as varied as Aston Martin, Nairn’s Oatcakes, UPS Logistics, PwC, artificial intelligence developers, and medical, cosmetics and energy consultants.
BAB was created when the British-American Chamber of Commerce in the USA and the American Chamber of Commerce in the UK merged. In the new initiative it aims to create a community of ‘Champions of Trade’ based all over the UK, to "help sustain the momentum and excitement for a new chapter in the transatlantic relationship". It invites you to get involved, read others' success stories and tell the business community about your own.
